"I booked this place for just myself to have a few days of quiet and solitude, to get away from the noise, and write. The A-frame was such a haven of beautiful surroundings and calming energy. I walked around the 40 acres, even in the snow. So grateful for my time here!"

"Perry Pines Yurt is fantastic! It's a small space, obviously, but it is impeccably designed for comfort and functionality. The wood stove, sauna, and lake are the stars of the show! The bathroom is ample, large, comfortable. The main living area is perfectly sized, and well-appointed with an airy, soaring ceiling and sky light. The hilltop location on a quiet country road overlooking a small gem of a lake could not be improved upon!! Book it!"

"Booked on the coldest weekend of the year and the yurt held up great in -30F weather. Ben was an amazing host and went out of his way to hook us up with a couple extra space heaters and plenty of firewood for the stove. This is a perfect spot for anyone wanting to unplug for a few days in a comfortable and cozy environment. Ben was very responsive to our questions and communicated exceptionally well. I would absolutely stay here again."

"Amazing stay! Worth every dollar spent. It's located in a very remote and quaint town. If you are looking to truly enjoy nature but still have connectivity to the outside world this is perfect for you! The yurt was small, yet roomy. We enjoyed being down by the lake listening to the stillness. We built and maintained several fires in the woodstove, and it was nice and warm even when it was snowing outside. Everything was very clean, and we felt very comfortable."

"This was my second stay at Perry Pines and it was just as great as the first time. The setting is spectacular! Enjoying my morning coffee while watching the sun rise was such a great way to start my mornings before enjoying all the fun the area has to offer. Practically, the yurt has all the comforts of home and plenty of bike storage. The fire pit is well located with a great view. Fire wood is provided and was dry."

"This is our second time staying in Ben's yurt on Perry Lake. It is a magical spot up north. Peaceful, quiet and surrounded by tall pines, this has become our favorite getaway from the city. The yurt is cozy, clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. A wood burning stove warmed us on a chilly day. The lake is calm and beautiful — a family of loons kept us enchanted over the course of the week. We love the sauna, made good use of the canoe, and even went swimming at the lake."

"Ben's place was such a peaceful retreat. We had every meal out on the deck of the yurt. The amenities included made packing for this trip such a breeze. We listened to the loons all day. The yurt was sturdy during the thunderstorms and extra magical to listen to. Such a relaxing trip!"
